How soon will I get my order?
Free Ground Shipping
Big Dee’s offers FREE shipping on non-FOB orders over $70 shipped to the contiguous United States. Non-FOB orders under $70 are subject to a $7.00 handling fee. FOB items – you will be charged actual ground shipping charges based on total order weight on items marked FOB (Freight On Board). FOB items are typically those that weigh over 2 pound or that are oversized.
Express Shipping
Available upon request at an additional charge. Please select Next Day or Second day shipping during checkout and a customer service representative will contact you with your shipping costs exceeds the estimate provided. You may call 1-800-321-2142 (US) or 330-626-5000 (outside of the US) to get estimated shipping charges. Not all items can be shipped via air. Expedited shipping is based on business days, excluding Saturdays. For examply, if you select Second Day Air on an order placed on Thursday, it will not be delivered until Monday.
Shipping Methods
Big Dee's ships via UPS, USPS or via truck. Most orders under $150 are shipped via USPS Priority mail. The following items cannot be shipped mail: vaccines, needles, orm-d items, glass, liquids, over 2 lbs, going to racetrack or training centers.
How Soon Will I Get My Order?
Most orders placed by 2:00 PM (EST) will ship the same day. Ground shipping usually takes 1-5 business days (refer to chart below). Please note - do not count Saturday, Sunday or recognized holidays in your delivery time. Unless the order is sent Next Day Air (Saturday delivery), UPS will not delivery on Saturday (please call 1-800-321-2142 to arrange for Saturday delivery)
Custom Orders: Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery of custom items. Please allow more time during the holiday season.
FOB Truck Shipping - Oversize or overweight items require delivery by a semi or lift-gate truck. These items may include horse drawn vehicles, large stall gates or stall mats. You are welcome to place your order on-line,a customer service representative will contact you with a shipping estimate prior to your payment method being charged. Minimum delivery charge on these items is $190.00.
Vaccine Shipping: Vaccines are shipped from Big Dee's Monday - Wednesday. Vaccines are temperature sensitive items that require insulated packaging and expedited shipment. Freight charges varies by state. Vaccines are shipping in an insulated pouch with ice packs to assure that they arrive safely. When you receive your order the packs will have melted, but will have done their job. Special Note - Rabies vaccines cannot ship to AA, AE, AK, AL, AR, AS, CA, CT, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, MD, ME, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OR, PR, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, WV, WY. Rabies vaccines do not come with a tag or license. Vaccines are non-returnable.
- AIR SHIPMENT - An additional fee of $22.50 will be charged on vaccine orders shipping to: AI, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV and WY
- GROUND SHIPPING - The only state that does not require additional fees would be Ohio.
- No Vaccines Ship to HI or AK
Any vaccine order of $300 or more will be shipped FREE!
Orders must be placed by 3:00 PM EST for same day shipping
International Shipping: All orders shipping outside of the continental United States including Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands are required to pay actual shipping charges as well as any additional Taxes, Duties or Brokerage fees that may be charged upon entry into the destination country. Please be sure to check with your local customs agency to ensure all items that you wish to import will be given entry for delivery into your country. International orders are shipped via UPS or USPS.
As a general rule any item that is fed-to or injected into an animal is not likely to clear customs for delivery.
Big Dee’s Tack & Vet Supply is not responsible for damages or losses due to shipment outside the continental USA or confiscation by your local customs agency.
If you would like to place an order you may do so through our website, be sure to choose “Other” as your payment method and place Shipping Quote in the noted field. Once the order is processed we will contact you with an estimated shipping quote and you will then be given the option to complete or cancel your order.
Please be aware that UPS charges an additional fee upon delivery that you are responsible for. All customs, duties and taxes will be collected by UPS at the time of delivery.
