DMVDesk is down and the deal is due today

Should a user eFile when DMVdesk is down and the deal is due that day?
No. The user should place the deal on a paper bundle and mail it into their field office. We make
no guarantee that the penalties will be waived if they try to eFile the deal and the deal does not
clear in time. Also, emphasize to the user that we strongly suggest that they do not wait until the
last day to either clear or post fees on a deal.
