Q045 error tip on file. Fees were posted a week ago. Do I send this to SPU?
Why do I receive Q045 error code?
There is a Transaction In Progress (TIP) and until it clears, nothing can be done.
If the TIP was created through e-file. Wait 24 hours to clear. If done by a field office it will take up to 72 business hours to clear.
If done through AAA, it can take up to weeks to clear. If more than the allotted time has passed, please email DMV because it can possibly be a False TIP.
