Why do I receive 0009 error code?
BPA is unable to post fees on Exempt Vehicles (including Disabled Veterans) as there are no fees due. You may send these deals to SPU or your field office for processing if the transaction needs to be placed in an RDF status.
The deal must go to the SPU team, please create a work order by clicking on the "Send to SPU" button shown within the deal. Please allow 5 days for processing.
This message occurs when the Post Fee Amount Auto box has not been checkmarked. At this time we are unable to enter a specific amount, so this box must be checked. When the box is checkmarked it will pick up the necessary fees due to DMV for that transaction. If you would like to post a specific amount, the deal must go to SPU or the Field Office.
Please note that in order to specify an amount to post to our SPU department, the fees for the vehicle must be greater than 30 days from its expiration date (if the vehicle is subject to registration fees).
