Why do I get D323 error code?
EXPLANATION:
DMV requires a standard plate be issued to a new vehicle before a disabled plate may be assigned
SOLUTION:
This may go to a field office on an exception bundle for processing. Or, this transaction can be processed without the disabled plate assignment.
If desired, the plate assignment can be processed on a Substitute Sticker transaction after a standard plate has been issued.
