If You Have DV Plates
- Required Forms:
- REG 17 Form: This form is used for requesting an exemption.
- REG 17A Form: An alternative form that can also be completed for the same purpose.
- Please Note: Ensure all necessary sections of the chosen form are filled out completely, and remember to have the customer sign where required.
If You Do Not Have DV Plates
- Required Forms:
- REG 256A Form: This form must be completed in order to request a fee exemption without having DV plates.
- A Letter from the VA: A letter verifying your status as a disabled veteran must accompany this application. Make sure it includes relevant details confirming eligibility.
- Select either REG 17 or REG 17A depending on your preference and fill it out accurately. \
