Troubleshooting KSR Connection Issues
Can't get KSR to work?
Troubleshooting KSR Issues
If you're experiencing issues with the KSR (Key Service Request), follow these steps to resolve common problems:
Check Connection Status
First, verify the status of the lock icon located in the top right corner of your screen. A green lock indicates a stable connection, while a red lock suggests there may be connectivity issues.
- If the lock is red, try refreshing your screen.
- Ensure you are following instructions correctly to retrieve your IP address from the terminal info box by hovering over your name as directed.
Using Screen Sharing for Assistance
If initial troubleshooting does not work, consider using screen sharing for remote support and further assistance. This can help identify and solve any underlying technical difficulties more effectively.
h2>Navigating to KSR FeatureYou can find the KSR option easily within your tabs:
- Locate the tab menu on the top navigation bar.
- Click on the tab labeled "KSR" to access its features even if your lock icon is green.
KSR Non-Resident Fee Information
The message "Non-res fee due KSR" indicates that a non-resident fee must be paid for processing through KSR. You will receive updates regarding your request once this fee has been processed successfully.
KSR/NMVTIS Request Delays
Please note that delays in processing requests are currently occurring due to an increase in report requests across all users. Your report should appear shortly after submission—thank you for your patience during this time!
Error Resolution Tips
If you encounter a timeout error when attempting to run KSR:
- Please ask users experiencing this issue to attempt running it again; often, retrying resolves temporary glitches.
